An electronic-circuit programmable calculator from Texas Instruments Corporation. The SR-56 was able to perform a variety of algebraic functions, and display results on its multi character LED display. The SR-56 was introduced in 1976, and contains an epoxy/fiberglass circuit board, solid states circuitry, 100 in-memory locations for storing data and 23 preprogrammed functions including trigonometry, logarithms, powers and roots, and reciprocals.
